Clients hire Anna to create and codify processes, policies, and procedures to support and prioritize physical and psychological safety for their employees, leadership, and consumer base.

Anna became passionate about this work during her time with CIGNA and MnState. 

Utilizing her psych degree, Anna began her compliance career at CIGNA Behavioral Health, assessing for risk of harm and substance abuse while completing behavioral health intakes and solving complex claims issues. During that time, Anna also harnessed her research outcomes to train clinical staff on client culture for health improvement outcomes of members served, and created workflows to increase efficiencies for other associates in the organization.

At MnState Anna oversaw the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities which included a student complaint process, student conduct process, discrimination complaint process, threat assessment team, and a mediation option available to students. For the duration of her time, Anna ensured that students’ rights to file complaints were clearly communicated and that complaints were fairly and equitably investigated. Within the conduct process, Anna was a neutral fact-finder, investigator, and decision-maker, teaching discipline from an educational perspective rather than a punitive one. Anna also co-facilitated, provided strategic guidance to, and managed investigations for the threat assessment team.
